Georgia Peach Pudding

- 3 cups cooked rice shopping list
- 3 cups milk shopping list
- 1/3 cup honey shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1 teaspoon vanilla shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
- Topping: shopping list
- 1/3 cup firmly packed brown sugar shopping list
- 4 peaches peeled pitted and sliced shopping list
- 2 teaspoons cornstarch shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon shopping list
- 1 tablespoon butter shopping list
- 2 tablespoons brandy shopping list
- 6 tablespoons slivered almonds toasted shopping list
- Whipped or sour cream shopping list
How to make it
- Combine rice, milk, honey and salt in saucepan.
- Cook over medium heat 30 minutes or until thickened stirring often.
- Add vanilla and butter then portion into serving dishes and serve with topping.
- To make topping sprinkle brown sugar over peaches and allow to stand 30 minutes.
- Combine cornstarch, salt and cinnamon in saucepan.
- Blend a little of the juice from the peaches then add peaches and remaining juice.
- Bring to a boil then reduce heat and simmer 3 minutes or until clear and thickened.
- Remove from heat then add butter and brandy and spoon over rice pudding.
- Sprinkle with almonds then serve warm topped with cream.
