Ingredients
  • Lemon grass (Serai) 6 nos
  • Gelanga (Lengkuas) 100 gm
  • Fesh turmeric (Kunyit Hidup) 100 gm
  • Garlic (Bawang Putih) 250 gm
  • Shallot (Bawang Merah) 500 gm
  • Ginger (Halia) 150 gm
  • Dried chili (Chili Kering) 200 gm
  • Palm suger or Brown suger (Gula Melaka) 250 gm
  • Kerisik -fried coconut flash 1 no.
  • Santan - coconut milk
  • (Unsweetened condensed milk can be used for santan)500 gm
  • Lime leaves (Daun Limau) 6 pcs
  • Turmeric leaves (Daun Kunyit) 5 leaves
  • Beef cut cubes (shank) 1 kg

Directions
  1. 1. Bland items from 1 to 7.
  2. 2. Marinate beef with all the blended ingredients
  3. 3.In pot start to slow cook the marinated beef & santan -coconut milk than add half of shredded lime & turmeric leaves and add in gula melaka.
  4. 4.When beef gets dry add in kerisik and rest of kunyit & lime leaves cook meat till tender and season with salt
  5. @ If desire it to be more spicy use chili padi (bird chili)
