Malaysian Style Barbecue Beef Spare Ribs

- beef or lamb spare ribs about 4 to 5 nos shopping list
- Boil ribs in cold water [covering meat] with below items:- shopping list
- apple 2 nos [quarters] shopping list
- ginger 2 in [wash & crushed] shopping list
- lemon grass 3 nos [crushed] shopping list
- cilantro stalks 3 plant shopping list
- onions 2 nos [peeled & quarters] shopping list
- garlic 8 cloves [Peeled & crushed] shopping list
- carrot 1 nos [peeled & rough cut] shopping list
- celery 2 stalk [roughly cut] shopping list
- black pepper corn 2 Tb spoon [crushed in plastic bag] shopping list
- honey 3 Tb spoon shopping list
- salt shopping list
- Boil the above on the stove till meat is tender but shopping list
- Must not be separating from bones for about 3-4 hrs. shopping list
- Cool down in room temperature in its stock shopping list
How to make it
- For marinating the Ribs:
- [Just put all the below ingredients in a food processor and
- bland them]
- Shallot peeled 5 nos
- Garlic peeled 3 cloves
- Carrot peeled 2 in
- Apple peeled 1 no
- Ginger peeled 1 in
- Cilantro 1 plant
- Celery peeled 1 stalk
- Honey 3 Tb spoon
- Soya “Kikkoman” sauce 1 Tb spoon
- L & P sauce - Worcestershire 1 Tb spoon
- “ALAGAPPA’S” curry powder 3 t spoon
- Heinz Barbecue sauce 2 cups
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Remove ribs from stock and marinate with
- marination about 3-4 hrs or over night in refrigerator.
- Before serving roast in oven till heated up or grill over slow fire on carcold grill.
