How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350
  • Cook ziti as directed
  • Meanwhile, melt 1 tbsp butter in saucepan on stove
  • Stir in flour, salt and pepper
  • Add milk slowly
  • Bring to a boil then cook 2 minutes constantly stirring to thicken
  • Remove sauce from heat and stir in 3/4 cup cheedar and 2 tbsp parmesan until melted
  • Drain pasta and mix with sauce
  • Put pasta in 8X8 baking dish covered and bake 20 minutes
  • Mix bread crumbs with melted butter, stir in cheeses
  • Remove cover from pasta and top with bread crumb mixture.
  • Bake 5 minutes longer
