Black Bean Hummus

- 15 oz can black beans drained and rinsed shopping list
- 15 oz can chickpeas, drains shopping list
- 1 T tahini (peanut butter or 1 t sesame oil can be substituted) shopping list
- 2 cloves garlic crushed shopping list
- 1 teas kosher salt shopping list
- 1 teas Californian Chile powder shopping list
- 1/4 teas ground cumin shopping list
- 1/4 teas ground coriander shopping list
- pinch shopping list
- 2 T lime juice shopping list
- 1/3 c olive oil shopping list
- 1/3 c water shopping list
- 2 T fresh chopped cilantro shopping list
How to make it
- Place all the ingredients in a food processor
- Puree to desired consistency, adding more water if needed
- Better if it sits for an hour or so
- When refrigerated, bring back to room temperature, Add a little water if needed to get the desired consistency.
- Serve with pita chips or tortilla chips
