BEER CHEESEBURGERS This recipe comes from my brother’s collection. He wanted to do something different for a family cookout several years ago and came up with this delight.

Ingredients
  • 3 pounds ground chuck
  • 1/4 cup dark beer
  • 2 minced garlic cloves
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1-1/2 teaspoons freshly ground red pepper
  • 1 pound shredded pepper jack cheese

Directions
  1. Combine ground chuck, beer, garlic, salt and red pepper then form into sixteen patties.
  2. Place 2 tablespoons cheese in center of 8 patties then top with another patty.
  3. Pinch edges together tightly to seal then grill 5 minutes per side and serve on toasted buns.
