How to make it

  • Combine broth and vegetables in a large sauce pan.
  • Cover and cook over medium heat for 15 minutes.
  • Melt butter in a Dutch oven over low heat then add flour and stir until smooth.
  • Cook 1 minute stirring constantly.
  • Gradually stir in milk and cook over medium heat stirring constantly until thick and bubbly.
  • Gradually stir in vegetable mixture, soy sauce, cheese and chicken.
  • Cook until cheese melts and soup is thoroughly heated.
