Tomato And Basil Tart

- 1-1/2 cups flour shopping list
- 1/2 cup butter cut into pieces shopping list
- 1 large egg shopping list
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shopping list
- 4 large roma tomatoes shopping list
- 1/4 cup slivered fresh basil shopping list
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh chives shopping list
- 3 large eggs lightly beaten shopping list
- 3/4 cup half and half shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon ground mustard shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/4 teaspoon pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Position knife blade in food processor bowl then add flour and butter.
- Process until mixture is crumbly then add 1 egg and process until mixture forms a ball.
- Press dough on bottom and up sides of a tart pan then prick with a fork.
- Bake at 350 for 20 minutes then cool completely on a wire rack.
- Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over prepared pastry shell then top with tomato, basil and chives.
- Combine 3 eggs and next 4 ingredients then stir well and pour over chives.
- Bake at 400 for 30 minutes then remove from oven and let cool on wire rack for 10 minutes.
