white beans with rosemary

- 3 (15 oz) cans of navy or great northern beans (drain and rinse two cans, save juice from one) shopping list
- 1/2 cup chopped onion (you may want to microwave the onion for a couple minutes before adding it to make sure it is cooked through) shopping list
- 2 cloves minced garlic shopping list
- 1 cup shredded carrots shopping list
- 1 1/2 teaspoons dried rosemary shopping list
- 1 dash freshly ground pepper (or to taste) shopping list
How to make it
- Drain and rinse 2 cans of white beans and empty into a pot. Add the entire contents of the third can to the pot.
- Add onions, garlic, shredded carrots and cook on medium-high heat for about 5 minutes.
- Add rosemary and pepper to taste.
- Simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Serve over rice.
