How to make it

  • Brown the ground venison and sausage together, drain and return to large pot or Dutch oven on low heat. Add the large spice pack from chili mix.
  • Sautee diced onion and add to meat.
  • Add kidney beans, do not drain.
  • Add tomato sauce, diced tomatoes, Rotel, picante sauce.
  • Add salt and cayenne pepper from chili mix as desired. I normally use only a small amount of what is provided in the mix.
  • Thin chili as desired with V8 Juice if necessary.
  • Simmer covered on low heat for 15 to 30 minutes or so.
