How to make it

  • Cut each pickle into thin crosswise slices.
  • Cut into each slice about 3/4 through the diameter.
  • Cross the cut edges of each slice over to form a miniature cup and fasten with half a toothpick.
  • Fill with a rosette of the cheese spread softened at room temperature and piped with a pastry bag.
