How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350.
  • Wash the pork chops and pat well dry with a paper towel.
  • Carefully cut a slit in one side of the chop to make the pocket for the stuffing.
  • Spread a little butter on top of the chop then rub the pork seasonings onto the chops and let them sit.
  • Saute the the onion, celery, garlic and ginger until slightly tender. Add the apples and raisins, and turn the heat down a bit and simmer out the water from the apples for about 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
  • Mix sauteed fruit and vegetables with the bread crumbs.
  • Bake pork chops in a shallow oven proof dish for about 30 - 40 minutes. If the chops are firm to the touch they are good to go.
