Apple Stuffing Pork Chops

- 4 thick pork loin chops shopping list
- 1 tsp butter shopping list

- 1 medium apple, with skin finely chopped shopping list
- 1 small onion, minced shopping list
- 1 stalk celery, minced shopping list
- 1 clove garlic, smashed shopping list
- 1/2 tsp fresh ginger root, minced shopping list
- 1 tbsp olive oil shopping list
- 1/4 cup raisins, chopped shopping list
- 2 slices bread grated for crumbs shopping list

- ---------------- shopping list
- 1 tsp salt shopping list
- 1 tsp lemon pepper shopping list
- 1 tsp sage shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Wash the pork chops and pat well dry with a paper towel.
- Carefully cut a slit in one side of the chop to make the pocket for the stuffing.
- Spread a little butter on top of the chop then rub the pork seasonings onto the chops and let them sit.
- Saute the the onion, celery, garlic and ginger until slightly tender. Add the apples and raisins, and turn the heat down a bit and simmer out the water from the apples for about 10 minutes. Let cool slightly.
- Mix sauteed fruit and vegetables with the bread crumbs.
- Bake pork chops in a shallow oven proof dish for about 30 - 40 minutes. If the chops are firm to the touch they are good to go.
