I buy a variety of pretzels to make it interesting (not broken), use 1/3 cup olive oil instead of a cup of vegetable oil, and replace the lemon pepper with cayenne or red pepper. With so little oil, you don't have to bake it either. Just put it all in a large bag and turn in over and over to mix it.
Its a great hit at the office, and I use it as my "go to" snack while I'm trying to cut down on calorie and fat intake, and this qualifies under my diet guidelines.

I was hoping for an image. I see one in my head. I reread the recipe and this is for snacks. A garlic and onion dip would be super~!I will make this recipe myself. It would be good to keep these in my desk at work.
Thanks for a great recipe!! Do you make your own pretzels?

I love this recipe, but dont use the lemon pepper. I have to make these at least once a week.
