How to make it

  • Preheat oven to 350 then cook asparagus in large pot of salted boiling water for 3 minutes.
  • Transfer to colander and drain well.
  • Add green onion leaves to boiling water and cook 30 minutes.
  • Drain in colander and rinse under cold running water to stop cooking.
  • In small skillet melt butter over medium heat then add bread crumbs and sesame seeds.
  • Sauté unto browned about 2 minutes.
  • Arrange asparagus in 6 bundles and tie each bundle together with green onion leaf.
  • Arrange asparagus bundles in shallow baking dish then place 1 slice brie on top of each bundle.
  • Sprinkle each bundle equally with bread crumb mixture then bake 6 minutes.
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper and serve immediately.
