How to make it

  • Combine wine, vinegar, sugar and garlic in heavy sauce pan and bring to boil then add sprouts.
  • Reduce heat then over and simmer 10 minutes.
  • Transfer sprouts and liquid to serving bowl.
  • Add lemon and lemon squeezings or dill pickle - use either dill pickles or lemon but not both.
  • Put in refrigerator overnight to allow flavors to blend and be absorbed.
  • Serve at room temperature.
