Glazed Turnips Recipe
Sauteing, then braising turnips brings out their flavor. This recipe uses one ingredient from the Dogma Box: Turnips.

Ingredients
  • 2 lb. turnips
  • 3 tbs. butter
  • 1 tsp, sugar
  • salt and freshly ground black pepper

Directions
  1. Peel turnips and cut into 3/4-inch dice.
  2. Melt butter in a saute pan large enough to hold the turnips in one layer.
  3. Over medium high heat, roll them around in the butter, then sprinkle on sugar.
  4. Turn heat to low, cover, and let simmer, stirring occasionally.
  5. They will brown and glaze as they cook. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
