Glazed Turnips

- 2 lb. turnips shopping list
- 3 tbs. butter shopping list
- 1 tsp, sugar shopping list
- salt and freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Peel turnips and cut into 3/4-inch dice.
- Melt butter in a saute pan large enough to hold the turnips in one layer.
- Over medium high heat, roll them around in the butter, then sprinkle on sugar.
- Turn heat to low, cover, and let simmer, stirring occasionally.
- They will brown and glaze as they cook. Season to taste with salt and pepper.
