How to make it

  • Boil water with salt
  • add grits and cook til thick.
  • Pour into a buttered or non stick bread loaf pan and refrigerate.Best to do this night before.
  • After the mixture has cooled and is solid, cut into strips and roll into
  • beaten egg and milk mixture and roll into some cornflake crumbs.
  • Set into a fry pan with oil and brown on all sides.
  • Serve with maple syrup.
