  • *
  • INGREDIENTS
  • * 1/2 (1 pound) package Bob Evans Original Recipe or Zesty Hot Sausage Roll
  • * 1/2 (8 ounce) jar taco sauce
  • * 6 taco shells
  • * 1 cup shredded Cheddar cheese
  • * 1/2 large onion, chopped
  • * 1 tomatoes, chopped
  • * 1/8 head iceberg lettuce, shredded
  • * 1/2 cup fresh cilantro sprigs and bell pepper triangles (optional)

Directions
  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F
  2. . Crumble sausage into medium skillet; cook over medium-high heat until browned, stirring occasionally
  3. . Drain off any drippings.
  4. Stir in taco sauce.
  5. Bring to a boil.
  6. Reduce heat to low; simmer 5 minutes.
  7. 2. To assemble tacos, place 2 tablespoons sausage mixture in each taco shell and top evenly with cheese, onion, tomatoes and lettuce
  8. . Serve hot.
  9. Refrigerate any leftover filling.
