How to make it

  • Take your pita bread and Split it in two pieces
  • Useinga sharp knife Score your pita without going all the way through
  • Coat your pita with a light brushing of olive oil, dash it with basil, add a pinch of ground cayenne pepper, dash it with parmesan cheese and sprinkle your garlic salt on it.
  • Bake until golden or lightly browned at 350 F
  • Let cool for about 10 minutes and tear into pieces
  • Serve with a chilled chopped salsa or any flavored dip you may like.
