How to make it

  • Preheat grill.
  • In shallow bowl combine olive oil and Creole seasoning to make a paste.
  • Smear each steak with rub covering entire steak completely.
  • Marinate steaks for one hour then place steaks on grill and cook 3 minutes.
  • Remove from grill and place each steak on a cedar plank.
  • Toss mushrooms and onions with salt and pepper.
  • Mound vegetables on top of each steak and place back on the grill.
  • Cook steaks on plank 6 minutes.
  • Toss onion rings in the Tabasco then dredge in flour.
  • Fry onions for 3 minutes then remove from fryer and season with salt and pepper.
