How to make it

  • Preheat a grill pan over high heat.
  • Combine chopped tomato, lemon juice, thyme and seasoning in a small bowl, set aside.
  • Lightly brush each side of the baguette slices with olive oil.
  • Place slices on the grill pan and cook without moving 1 minute.
  • Flip slices and cook one minute further, until toasty brown.
  • Immediately rub one side of each slice with the cut side of garlic.
  • Top each slice with equal amounts of the tomato mixture and serve immediately.
