These bars are delicious,chewy and easy to make and have a rich butterscotch flavor.

Ingredients
  • 1/2c(1stick) unsalted butter
  • 13/4c packed light brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2c self-rising flour
  • 1tsp butter rum extract
  • 1c chopped pecans
  • confectioners sugar for dusting

Directions
  1. Heat oven to 350. Coat 9x13" baking dish with non-stick cooking spray;set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a medium-size saucepan. Add sugar,eggs and flour to saucepan and mix till well blended. Stir in butter-rum extract and pecans.
  3. Pour into prepared pan and bake for about 25 mins or till toothpick comes out clean.
  4. Cool completely on wire rack and dust with confectioners sugar. Cut into 24 bars.
