This dish has had remarks of having dinner and desert all in one. I created this a long time ago when someone told me a little sugar takes heartburn away & I put a little too much sugar by mistake. My family loves it now.

Ingredients
  • 4 lbs ground beef
  • 1 cup chopped yellow onions
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 2 Tsp of chopped garlic (if desired)
  • 1 & 1/2 cups of white sugar
  • season to taste
  • 2 lbs(your pref, long noodles or egg shells)
  • 4 - 10 & 1/2 oz can of spaghetti sauce of your choise
  • (Delmonte, Prego etd.)
  • Add mushrooms if desired (to your own liking)
  • Add shredded cheese to your list if desired

Directions
  1. Pinch up the ground meat in the cooking pot into very small pieces.
  2. Add your seasons to taste.
  3. Brown until almost cooked all the way.
  4. Drain all meat drippings (this will take the meat grease out)
  5. Add yellow, green onions, garlic continue cooking until done.
  6. add sauce and the sugar and cook on med fire watching it closely for 30 minutes
  7. In a pasta pot cook 2 lbs of pasta until tender. Drain and rinse starch off with hot water add butter in pasta to keep it from sticking.
  8. Shredded chedder cheese if desired on top
  9. Top this meal off with Garlic Bread
