Ingredients
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 Tbsp citric acid
  • 1 Tbsp tartaric acid
  • 3 lemons
  • 3 oranges
  • 1.5 Litres boiling water

Directions
  1. Place sugar and acids in large basin. Grate rind from fruit and add to sugar. Squeeze juice from fruit and add. Pour boiling water over and stir until sugar is dissolved, cool and bottle. Before service dilute with iced water - 1 part cordial to 4 parts water. Serves about 50.
