French Toast and Fruit

- 1 Tsp butter shopping list
- 2 Slices of bread shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- Pinch of salt shopping list
- 2 Tbsp milk shopping list
- maple syrup (optional) shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla essence shopping list
- fruit of choice shopping list
- cinnamon (optional) shopping list
How to make it
- Slice up in small chunks your fruit of choice (to cover the face of a slice of bread), i like peaches or bananas
- Beat 2 eggs in a bowel, add milk, around 2-3 Tbsp Maple syrup (according to taste) and Vanilla essence with salt
- Heat butter in a fry pan over low heat
- Place 1 slice of bread in and allow to soak on both sides
- Then place soaked slice in pan and place fruit on top carefully
- Quickly soak second slice in egg mixture and place on top of fruit
- Place lid over pan and cook for 3-4 mins each side on low heat (careful when flipping)
- When cooked, bring out and dribble some maple syrup on top and sprinkle with cinnamon (optional)
