Skillet buttermilk brownies

- 1 1/4 cups granulated sugar shopping list
- 3 large eggs shopping list
- 1 cup all-purpose flour shopping list
- 1/4 cup Dutch-process cocoa powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt shopping list
- 4 tablespoons butter shopping list
- 1/4 cup buttermilk shopping list
- 8 ounces dark chocolate, coarsely chopped shopping list
- powdered sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
- In large bowl, whisk sugar and eggs. In another bowl, whisk flour, cocoa and salt.
- In medium ovenproof nonstick skillet, bring butter and buttermilk to a simmer over medium heat.
- Add chocolate and reduce to medium-low.
- Cook until chocolate has melted, stirring constantly.
- Remove from heat and let cool 5 minutes.
- Add chocolate mixture to sugar mixture.
- Whisk until blended.
- Fold in flour mixture.
- Pour batter into skillet.
- Bake until a toothpick inserted comes out clean (about 40 minutes).
- Dust with powdered sugar and serve from the skillet warm.
