How to make it

  • preheat oven to 190C (375F)
  • whisk together yolks, sugar and cornflour in saucepan.
  • gradually add cream and milkand keep whisking untill smooth
  • place over medium heat and stir untill mixture thickens and comes to boil
  • place custord in bowl and cover with cling rap making sure the cling rap touches the custard leave to cool
  • fold pastry in half.
  • roll the pastry from the smaller and tightly
  • cut into twelve rings
  • roll each ring with rolling pin untill approx 8cm diametere
  • place pastry in greesed muffin tray and and pour in curtard.
  • put in oven for 20-25minutes or untill golden on top
