Ingredients
  • 1 tbsp bacon fat
  • 2 cups frozen hash browns (from a package)
  • 1/2 cup chopped ham- leftover cubed ham from that big ham you baked for Sunday dinner will work.
  • Shredded cheese, any kind will do
  • ketchup
  • 1/4 cup bell pepper, chopped
  • dash of chopped onion
  • Tortillas, at least two
  • Ms. Dash

Directions
  1. In a big skillet, heat the bacon fat on medium-high heat. When it is hot, a bit sizzle-y, add the hash browns. Stir hash browns often. When the hash brown has started to brown, add the ham and stir often until both are done. Pour into a large bowl. Add Ms. Dash.
  2. Do not turn off the heat. In the same skillet, heat the tortillas so they are flexible. Remove and lay on plate. Spread some ketchup onto the tortilla and then add the hash brown/ham mixture. Sprinkle cheese, peppers and onion on top and roll into a burrito.
  3. Pop into the microwave for a minute to melt the cheese.
  4. ***Sliced cheese will do if shredded cheese is not available

Great recipe thanks for sharing - question though; since I am from Australia I have not heard of Ms Dash, what is it and/or could I use something else instead?
