Poor Mans Pie Recipe
When you get home and realize you havent done a thing for supper and the kids are yanking your chain, this will make your life easy!

Ingredients
  • white flour
  • 1 can of green peas
  • milk
  • shredded old cheddar
  • ham or smoked pork or pulled pork
  • cheese spread
  • your favorite bread (texas toast)
  • black pepper
  • sea salt

Directions
  1. Two slabs of toast for each serving.
  2. place unbuttered toast on plate (buttering will make soggy)
  3. empty can-o-peas in sauce pan and bring to boil
  4. (you will have to add a bit of water so it will handle the high temp)
  5. in a small rubbermaid or tupperware container, shake up a quarter cup of white flour and a half cup of milk until a smooth consistancy is present.
  6. just as the peas begin to boil, add the flour/milk mixture and stir vigorously so it doesnt stick to the pan.
  7. now spread your favorite cheese spread on the toast and top with shredded old nip chaddar.
  8. place a good helping of sliced ham or smoked pork or pulled pork on the cheese.
  9. now pour the hot green pea mixture over everything.
  10. sprinkle with salt and pepper and eat til your hearts content!
