- Approximately 12 dasheen leaves or spinach leaves shopping list
- 1/2 lb. salt beef or a ham bone shopping list
- 1 tb butter shopping list
- 1/4 lb salt pork shopping list
- 2 cups boiling water shopping list
- 1 green pepper shopping list
- 2 crabs (optionl) shopping list
- 8 Ockras shopping list
- 2 Sprigs thyme shopping list
- 1 onion shopping list
- 4 chives shopping list
How to make it
- Strip the stalks and mid-rib from the dasheen leaves and wash well
- Wash and chop okras and seasonings.
- Soak and cut-up the meat
- Parboil and clean the crabs
- Put all the ingredients, except the butter into a pot with the boiling water and simmer until everything is soft.
- Swizzle and add the butter.
