Foolproof Corn Starch Gravy

Ingredients
  • 2 tbsp. beef or poultry fat drippings
  • 2 cups water or broth
  • 2 tbsp. Corn Starch
  • 1/4 cup COLD water
  • Desired seasonings, to taste

Directions
  1. Pour off drippings and return 2 tbsp. to roasting pan
  2. Stir in water or broth
  3. Cook over medium heat, stirring to loosen browned bits
  4. REMOVE FROM HEAT
  5. Mix corn starch and COLD water until smooth
  6. stir into liquid in pan
  7. Add seasonings
  8. Stirring constantly, bring to boil over medium heat and boil 1 minute
  9. ***Makes about 2 cups***
