How to make it

  • Saute the habaneros whole in a small oiled pan. You want to end up with some charring on them.
  • While sauteing the habaneros, combine the other ingredients in a bowl.
  • After the habaneros are nicely charred, cut off the stems and mince them into a mush.
  • Mix the habaneros into the bowl.
  • Cover and chill for 2 days. The heat will increase as it sits and the flavors mesh together.
  • Serve cold.
