Lemon Citrus Herb Alaskan Salmon Recipe
Heart healthy and delicious! I got this recipe from the head sous chef of the Marriott in the medical center of Houston. Will be making a meal plan out of this one. This is a favorite for my family and soon be one of yours!

Ingredients
  • 4 salmon fillet portions
  • 2 lemons
  • 1/2 tbs fennel
  • 1/2 tbs dill
  • 1/2 tsp basil
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • olive oil

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  2. Chop herbs and crust one side of each fillet with herbs.
  3. Thinly slice lemons.
  4. In a large skillet heat up about 2 tbs olive oil.
  5. Sear each fillet 1 minute on each side.
  6. Oil a cookie sheet.
  7. Place each fillet herb crusted side up and salt and pepper.
  8. Cover generously with lemon slices.
  9. Bake for 10 minutes.
  10. Remove lemon slices and serve.
