How to make it

  • In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly before brushing on your favorite meat. This will be a bit thick, and will thicken more as it cools. If I'm using it to season a chopped pork, beef, or chicken, I will add water to thin it, before mixing in the meat.

    Thank you, try it, change it to your own taste, but the base is excellent!!! It might be a little sweet for some, just cut back on the brown sugar.
