Bbq Sauce

Nicely sweet and tangy BBQ Sauce. Good on any Pork or Chicken. Excellent as a grilling sauce. Brush it on your meat 5 - 10 minutes prior to removing from the grill.
Ingredients
- 1-1/2 cup ketchup shopping list
- 5 tablespoons brown sugar shopping list
- 4 tablespoons worcestershire sauce shopping list
- 2 tablespoons cider vinegar shopping list
- 2 dashes hot pepper sauce shopping list
- 2 teaspoons garlic powder shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon salt shopping list
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- In a saucepan over medium heat, stir together the ketchup, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, vinegar, hot pepper sauce, garlic powder, black pepper, and salt. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat and allow it to cool slightly before brushing on your favorite meat. This will be a bit thick, and will thicken more as it cools. If I'm using it to season a chopped pork, beef, or chicken, I will add water to thin it, before mixing in the meat.
