I live in Western Massachusetts in a town that has a large Portugese population. We have lots of chorico in our local grocery store and I have made and eaten lots of kale soup. Your recipe is very unusual, hearty, and sounds delicious. Thanks for a great post.

Can you elaborate on the ingredient Portuguese chourico and where you find this? I am in a small town and specialty shops are hard to find in this area. Thanks so much in advance! I can't wait to try this receipe!!!
