Marinara Sauce Recipe
When I worked in an Italian restaurant, this was our basic red sauce. We used it for many different dishes. I love it on toast.

Ingredients
  • 3 cloves minced Garlic
  • 1/2 c finely chopped Parsley
  • 1/4 c White Wine
  • 2 - 19 oz cans diced Tomatoes

Directions
  1. Lightly saute garlic and parsley for 2 minutes
  2. Add White Wine and allow to de-alcoholize for 3 - 4 minutes
  3. Add tomatoes and simmer for 15 minutes
  4. Serve over hot pasta topped with a few shrimp and freshly grated Parmesan.
