Ingredients
  • 2 c. flour
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 2 tbsp. sugar
  • 4 tbsp. shortening
  • 1 egg
  • 3/4 c. milk

Directions
  1. Combine ingredients in order.
  2. Mix (don't over mix)
  3. Pat batter into a greased 8 or 9-inch square pan.
  4. Bake 475' for 25 minutes
