Ingredients
  • 1 pkg. (6 squares) BAKER'S Bittersweet Chocolate, chopped
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1-1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1-3/4 cups flour
  • 1/2 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/3 cup chopped candy canes

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F.
  2. Microwave chocolate and butter in medium microwaveable bowl on MEDIUM 2 min. or until butter is melted.
  3. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.
  4. Stir in sugar.
  5. Add eggs, 1 at a time, mixing until well blended after each addition.
  6. Add combined flour and baking powder; mix well. (Dough will be very soft.)
  7. Cover and refrigerate at least 2 hours or overnight.
  8. Roll heaping teaspoonfuls of dough into 1-inch balls.
  9. Place, 2-inches apart, on greased baking sheet.
  10. Bake 9 to 11 min. or until lightly browned. (Do not overbake.)
  11. Immediately sprinkle with chopped candy canes.
  12. Cool completely on wire racks.
  13. Store in airtight container at room temperature.
