this is a fast and easy crust for pies or cakes such as a cheesecake... it would be great with a banana cream pie...

In a large bowl, combine nuts and brown sugar. With a wooden spoon, stir in butter.
for pie.... press into a 9-inch pie plate.
refrigerate ..add favorite filling
for cake... such as cheese cake
Cut an 8-inch circle of parchment paper and place in bottom of 8" springform pan with removable bottom. Press nut mixture over bottom of pan. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
