no bake nut pie crust regular and gluten free

- 2 1/4 cups (10 ounces) pecans, toasted and coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1 cup (4 ounces) walnuts, toasted and coarsely chopped shopping list
- 1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar shopping list
- 6 ounces butter, melted shopping list
How to make it
- In a large bowl, combine nuts and brown sugar. With a wooden spoon, stir in butter.
- for pie.... press into a 9-inch pie plate.
- refrigerate ..add favorite filling
- for cake... such as cheese cake
- Cut an 8-inch circle of parchment paper and place in bottom of 8" springform pan with removable bottom. Press nut mixture over bottom of pan. Refrigerate at least 1 hour.
