These are fun to make with children. My mom and I always made them together, especially around the fall and winter months.

Ingredients
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 sticks butter
  • 1/2 cup molasses
  • 3/4 cup Milnot milk
  • Popcorn

Directions
  1. Make a large bowl of freshly popped popcorn
  2. Cook all ingredients to a medium hard ball stage on candy thermometer
  3. Remove from heat and pour over large bowl of freshly popped popcorn
  4. (Can add nuts of choice)
  5. Mix well and let cool some
  6. Add butter to hands and shape popcorn into balls while still warm
