Smoky Gouda And Bacon Omelet Recipe
SMOKEY GOUDA AND BACON OMELET This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the May Estate in Dallas, Texas in 1984.

Ingredients
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tablespoons warm milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 2 strips bacon cooked and crumbled
  • 1/4 cup grated smoky gouda cheese

Directions
  1. In small bowl mix together eggs and milk.
  2. In medium nonstick skillet heat butter over medium heat.
  3. Pour in egg mixture and using spatula push cooked egg from edge into center.
  4. Tilt pan so uncooked egg fills in around edge.
  5. When top is still a little moist sprinkle bacon and cheese over top.
  6. When eggs are set fold omelet in half and slide onto serving platter and serve immediately.
