Ingredients incude fresh oysters, cornbread, hollandaise sauce, Va ham. Sounds weird??

Ingredients
  • 6 select oysters
  • individual slice of corn bread
  • 3 tablespoons of hollandaise sauce
  • slice of real Va cured ham. (the salty kind)

Directions
  1. bake corn bread
  2. prepare hollandaise sauce with a little extra cayanne pepper and lemon juice
  3. grill thinly sliced Va ham
  4. prepare cort boullion
  5. gentlly poach oysters
  6. assemble on plate first corn bread, Va ham, oysters and top with hollandaise sauce.
  7. This is a famous old recipe from the Hotel John Marshal in Richmond Va.
