How to make it

  • In your medium heavy saucepan mix everything but the rum and vanilla.
  • Your going to want to bring this to a boil stirring frequently.
  • Then turn the heat down and allow to cook for 20 minutes.
  • Then remove form heat and add your rum and vanilla.

    ohhhhhh, I can't wait! You find butterscotch offered as a topping for ice cream so seldom now. Everything is caramel and despite what my friends say, it is NOT the same thing! :o)
