Five Pepper Strip Steak

FIVE PEPPER STRIP STEAK This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Tillman Estate in Forney, Texas in 1982.
Ingredients
- 4 strip steaks shopping list
- 2 jalapeno peppers chopped shopping list
- 2 serrano peppers chopped shopping list
- 2 poblano peppers seeded and chopped shopping list
- 2 Anaheim chile peppers seeded and chopped shopping list
- 1/4 cup sambal chile paste shopping list
- 3 shallots chopped roughly shopping list
- 4 cloves garlic roughly chopped shopping list
- 1/2 cup soy sauce shopping list
- 1/2 cup rice wine vinegar shopping list
- 1/4 cup honey shopping list
- 1 bunch cilantro roughly chopped shopping list
- 1 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper shopping list
How to make it
- Puree all ingredients except steaks in food processor until smooth.
- Marinate steaks in puree for 20 minutes then set aside.
- Cook steaks for 5 minutes on each side then let rest 5 minutes before serving.
