Five Peppercorn Beef Tenderloin Dated 1967 Recipe
FIVE PEPPERCORN BEEF TENDERLOIN DATED 1967 This recipe came from an estate sale. I obtained it when I purchased the family collection from the Nelson Estate in Tulsa, Oklahoma in 1992.

Ingredients
  • 4 filet mignons
  • Five peppercorn mix (2 black 2 white 2 green 2 pink; 1 Szechwan)
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped garlic
  • 1 rosemary sprig
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Directions
  1. Coat beef with peppercorns.
  2. Marinate in oil, garlic and rosemary for 4 hours refrigerated.
  3. Season beef with salt and sear in a heavy pan.
  4. Turn beef over and place in 375 oven for 12 minutes.
  5. Allow to rest 5 minutes then serve.
