This delicious sandwich is what came out of my laziness to go grocery shopping, so I used whatever I had in the fridge. It was a delightful surprise. You can replace the steak with roast beef in a pinch. You can

Ingredients
  • 1 small steak or cube steak (whatever you feel is enough for 2 people)
  • 4 tbs butter
  • 1 onion, sliced
  • swiss cheese
  • mayonnaise
  • sriracha hot sauce (or similar asian sweet chili sauce)
  • dash Lawry's Seasoning Salt
  • dash of Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 bulkie rolls or sub rolls

Directions
  1. prepare the mayonnaise by mixing 2 parts mayonnaise with 1 part sriracha (more if you're not a wimp)
  2. slice the steak very thinly and season with Lawry's, set aside
  3. in a large skillet, melt the butter
  4. add in onions and stir around until slightly translucent
  5. add the steak and stir until browned
  6. throw in some Worcestershire sauce for good measure, and taste. add more lawry's if necessary (it probably is)
  7. meanwhile, toast the rolls
  8. when the rolls are ready, layer with the steak and onions
  9. top with swiss cheese
  10. spread sriracha mayonaise on the top roll
  11. i like to put the sandwich back in the oven for a minute to melt the swiss cheese, but it should melt on its own from the heat of the steak anyway.
  12. enjoy.
