Sour Kubba

- 1 cup crushed rice shopping list
- 1/3 cup fat free minced beef meat shopping list
- Or 2/3 cup semolina for people who do not eat prefer meat shopping list
- ½ tsp salt shopping list
- water shopping list
- Filling: shopping list
- ½ kg little fat minced lamb meat shopping list
- 1 onion chopped fine shopping list
- 1 tbsp spice shopping list
- salt shopping list
- Sauce: shopping list
- ¼ kg lamp meat with bone shopping list
- 200 g tomato paste shopping list
- 6 ½ cups water shopping list
- ¼ kg turnip (chopped slices) shopping list
- 1 ½ tbsp dry mint shopping list
- ½ tsp lemon powder or lemon juice (as you prefer) shopping list
How to make it
- Mix the rice, beef or semolina and salt, add the water gradually as needed until it becomes like a ball and does not stick to the hand, roll as a ball, cover and leave it half an hour.
- Mix the minced lamb meat, onion, spice and salt.
- Take the dough and cut it to small balls (the size of a smaller than walnut) take each ball and make a hole in it, then full it with meat and close it and give it an oval shape.
- Wash the meat with bone and put it in a pot and put on the fire and keep stirring, add the tomato paste and (6 cups) of water, leave it for 30 minutes until the meat is cooked.
- Add the turnip, 1 tbsp of the dry mint and lemon, leave it 15 minutes, add the Kuba one by one gently so that they do not stick with one another.
- After putting the last piece add (½ cup) of cold water then stir them gently to avoid breaking them, leave on light fire for 15 minutes until they are cooked.
- Pour them in the serving bowl and sprinkle the remaining dry mint on top.
