- 1 1/2 cup flour shopping list
- 2 tsp baking powder shopping list
- 1/4 tsp salt shopping list
- 1/3 cup butter shopping list
- 1 tsp vanilla extract shopping list
- 3/4 cup sugar shopping list
- 2 eggs shopping list
- /2 cup milk shopping list
- Filling shopping list
- Whole cranberry sauce or Cranberry compote shopping list
- vanilla frosting Optional or confectioners sugar shopping list
How to make it
- Preheat Oven 375*
- Grease two 8" round cake Pans set aside
- Sift together Flour, Salt, and Baking Powder set aside
- Cream Butter and sugar beating until light and fluffy beat in vanilla until smooth
- Beat in eggs one at a time beating hard after each addition
- Add flour mixture alternately to creamed mixture with Milk starting with flour and ending with flour.
- pour into pans bake about 25 minutes until done cake starts to pull away from sides of pan
- cool completely on wire rack
- on top of one cake spread filling top with second cake.
- sprinkle with confectioners sugar or frost top with vanilla frosting
