How to make it

  • Preheat Oven 375*
  • Grease two 8" round cake Pans set aside
  • Sift together Flour, Salt, and Baking Powder set aside
  • Cream Butter and sugar beating until light and fluffy beat in vanilla until smooth
  • Beat in eggs one at a time beating hard after each addition
  • Add flour mixture alternately to creamed mixture with Milk starting with flour and ending with flour.
  • pour into pans bake about 25 minutes until done cake starts to pull away from sides of pan
  • cool completely on wire rack
  • on top of one cake spread filling top with second cake.
  • sprinkle with confectioners sugar or frost top with vanilla frosting
