Creamy Strawberry Filled Cake

- 1 cup boiling water shopping list
- 4 ounces strawberry gelatin shopping list
- 1/2 cup cold water shopping list
- 2 cups fresh strawberries shopping list
- 8 ounces frozen whipped topping thawed shopping list
- 1 round angel food cake shopping list
- Additional berries for garnish shopping list
How to make it
- Pour boiling water over gelatin in large bowl then stir until gelatin is dissolved.
- Stir in cold water then refrigerate 1 hour or until thickened but not set.
- Fold 1 pint of strawberries and half of the whipped topping into the gelatin mixture.
- Refrigerate 15 minutes or until thickened but not set.
- Split cake horizontally to make 3 layers then fill layers with gelatin mixture.
- Spoon or pipe remaining whipped topping onto top of cake and garnish with extra berries.
- Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve.
