From a recipe book I got at a yard sale. It was one put together by members of a church and seems to be dated 1976/77. Guess on servings and prep time.

Ingredients
  • 1 1/2 C salad oil
  • 1 C white sugar
  • 1 C brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • ***blend the above together***
  • 3C sifted flour
  • 3C apples cut into chunks
  • 1C chopped nuts
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1tsp baking soda
  • 1tsp cinnamon
  • 1tsp vanilla

Directions
  1. Preheat oven to 350F.
  2. Combine ingredients in order given.
  3. Spoon into greased tube pan.
  4. Bake for 1 hour.
